There's no use KNOCKING........Mr BIRDIE .........

Do you get this kinda stuff goin' on at your place???

We gets these strange knockin' noises, mainly in the mornings. It's very spooky.

This is the commotion at the Bay Window, in the main bedroom.

Don't try lookin' SWEET Mr Birdie - I ain't lettin' you in!!

We even made this little video for your viewing pleasure.

I gotta say, this cheeky birdie has also tried to get in via the Family Room window, and the Kitchen window -lucky the glass is strong!!

When I have had enough, I run outside and scare him away!!

  3. Howdy Rubie, hehehe, we wonder if Mr Birdie is sort of fighting with his reflection? We would have gone K E R A Z Y BARKING MAD if he was at our window. Take care this week with the horrible heat. Would you believe that Tuesday and Thursday we will have to be OUTSIDE cause mum is working at home with her little peeps she cares for. HOpe we don't melt! Mum says she will give us lots of ice blocks and we have plenty of shade to lay in. See ya sweetie pie. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory

  7. We have cedar siding on our house and sometimes the woodpeckers seem to think we are a tree and peck at the house. That drives us crazy and makes us bark like mad. We can't believe how calm you were watching that birdie.

  8. OMD Ruby..... WHAT is UP with these BirdBRAINS lately??? Do you remember the Mocking Bird that was trying to do that with our sunporch windows? Fortunately HE has Finally gone away...
Do you suppose they have teamed up with the Tree Rats and are trying to INVADE our Homes... and steal our Foods and Toys? THIS is a very scary development.
So how are you feeling today? Better we hope.

  16. Howdy Rubie, we are surviving this heat! We have heard it reached 46C in Adelaide but would you believe here at Lobethal we've only reached 36C, phew. Still hot but not undogable. We've even had a little rain, not much but some. Take care and keep cool. Three more days to go! No worries, and love, Stella and Rory

  17. My peep has trouble with them birds at her work ('cos I'm not there to keep them away).
They nest on the window sill of her classroom (she's on the second floor) and if the windows get left open at recess or lunch them bloody birds try and move in! They poop all over the place!

Now, if she would only take me to work with her, I'd show them birds (not to mention the kids) a thing or two!
