8th July stuffs

Hiya all,

Just wanted to give you the low-down on my Yesterday.

Yesterday was a very nice day. Even though we are having Winters here..... it was a clear and sunny glorious day.

My dad dad turned like 87,000 dog years old. So I gave him three presents and a card that mum and I made.

I could help him unwrap stuff - but dealing with the sticky tape on my furry paws was something else!

My cousins Scarlet and Zoe came over - here is Scarlet on the blue recliner - in the middle of a game of bitey hand with her dad dad.

With Zoe observing from a safe distance..... plotting what she can get up to next!

Everything was going to usual plan.... playing....napping and our dinners....

THEN..... *(GASPS)*

Mum and dad dad started putting nice clothes on, mum put on war paints on her face and phew smelly stuff sprays on!!

And they took my uncie and then they drove off leaving us fur-kids at home.....ALONE!!

They went someplace where they have stuffs like this given to them!!!

And the worst thing of ALLLLLL - you GUESSED it - NO DOGGIE BAGS FOR US WHEN THEY GOTS HOME!

*(HUMPH)*!!!

Take it from me ...... Revenge will be SWEET!!!

  4. Ah, yes, Rubie, revenge will be sweet, but probably not as sweet as the stuffs they ate and didn't bring you any of. So make sure you get *lots* of revenge!

Trixie likes to sample our human's food off the side table, if she goes out of the room for a moment. She particularly likes coffee and red wine. Just in case you want some tips on getting revenge. Trixie doesn't do it for revenge, she considers it to be more of a hobby.

  9. I heard that they went to a restaurant that serves "native" food like kangaroos and such. I think I would have rather had a cheesburger, really, Rubie, wouldn't you?

  10. That's a violation of the human/canine contract! Doggie bags MUST be brought home from ALL encounters.

  16. Howdy Rubie, Happy Birthday to your Dad. It sounds like he had a great day even though he is 87,000 years old. At least you had your cousins for company when you were abandoned! We thought our mum was the only one who wore war paint and sprayed herself silly with the smelly stuff hehe butt she is about 86,000 years old so probably needs it!
No worries, and love, Stella and Rory

  19. Oh Rubie - first, belated Happy Birthday to your Dad! That looked like a super yummies place that they went to! I can share your indignation, though, coz that often happens to me too - the humans forget to bring home some leftovers for me to taste too!

Looks like you helped to celebrate the birthday in style, though - we had a giggle at how old your Dad is! ;-)

  21. 87,000 years is a very long time. Scarlet and Zoe are so adorable. You know Mama is serious when she puts the war paint on. Too bad you guys got left at home because that looks delicious.
