Don't you just LOVE a day that is dedicated to FOODABLES??!!?? Well - brace yourselves - the 4th of October is:
My furend Jazzi is absolutely NUTS about TACOS and she has asked her blogville furends to indulge in tacos on this day and then post their eatin' extravaganzas!! I invited Scarlet and Zoe, my cousins, to come and celebrate with me...... and they were happy to oblige!
Wooo Hoooo my mum carefully prepared our "doggie friendly" Tacos.
Yup - they look good - and I approve of mum's taco holding dish she made in ceramics!
We are all lined up and ready to get stuck in, see I'm licking my chops in anticipation!! Did I mention we doggies have never had Tacos before???? (*gasps*)
Mum had to put something under my bowl to stop it slidin' - I decided to eat the innards first.
Had to get my tongue right down in there!
UUUmmm - then I found the crunchy shell - yummers!!!!
Scarlet turn next and she sniffed first..... then tackled the inner noms.
Then she discovered the crunchy shell too!
Zoe was being held back by uncie so mum could photograph us each individually havin' our Tacos. She is rarin' to go!
Right Zoe - you're up for Tacos now - she discovers the beauty of the fillings!
Then munches and crunches the delicious shell.
Our Verdict?????????
TACOS ARE YUMMERS !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Happy National (or International) Taco Day Everyone!!!!

Rubie, I just can't get over that fantastic taco dish that your Mommi made! I bet your food bowl was made by her as well...so cute and nice! I have at last managed to grab the awards you gave me and now wants to present YOU with another AWARD! The SUNSHINE AWARD! You deserve it for bringing a LOT of sunshine into our lives...^_^
ReplyDeleteRubie, your tacos looks wonderful. We only had meat and cheese in ours, vegies take up too much room.
ReplyDeleteI must say, you and your cousins have better table manners than us....we just gobbled them up and made a mess.
Can't believe we have to wait another whole year!

Yum Yum..! I didn't know there's really a Taco Day till I read some of the posts in blogville! Looks really tasty!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, all my bowls need to be boosted up to lessen the strain on my neck /spine. Last year I've had several "stiff neck" episodes ie. my neck could not turn to one side. It will just happen out of the blue & Usually it goes back to normal the next day. Vet said it could be some sort of slipped disc at back of neck. So now I don't use collars during walks, only harness.

Hi and Happy (inter)National Taco Day
ReplyDeleteWhat beautifully presented tacos you had. I am so enjoying reading all these taco posts, and learning all about tacos. I didn't even know such a thing existed until a week ago, and was very worried that my MacTaco would not count, but thanks to Taco Queen Jazzi, I now know that quite a wide range of foodables can go into making a taco.
Happy eating!
Toodle pip!

It's totally not fair that I didn't get to eat my taco. I'm glad you all enjoyed yours. I drooled a little watching!

ReplyDeleteI must apologise for being such a bab beau this last week or so my lovely Rubie Lou. The PA has just been useless and we're considering putting an advery in the Dog Tales Weekly for a replacement. I promise to (make her) do better from now on.
