It's hard to get good help / Cousin Sitting

Hi there my furiends…… yes I'm still here ……. yes I'm still playing …… but - seriously- I've been having all sorts of trouble trying to motivate my mum into helping me with my blogging. I know - you are shocked…right!!?? I'm thinking about running an ad and hiring a capable and motivated human to switch on the big computer and assist me with my very entertaining blogging. Know anyone??? Please let me know.

Turns out that my mum has been having a medical issue which she says is partly to blame for this lapse in her motivation …. she had some blood tests recently and it turns out that she is very "a-nee-mick" and even had chunks of her furs fall out ….. and is about to have a bunch of more medical tests and stuffs …. I know she will be Okays. Let's just hope that my bloggie doesn't crash and burn suffer too much longer. Just sayin'.

Now I had better let you know of some of the stuffs you missed.

My cousins Scarlet and Zoe stayed with us for almost a week while their dad dad (my uncie) went away with "the boys"!

The above photo is the first night where Scarlet sat on the rug and stared at the front door waiting  for her dad dad to return. Zoe was not too worried but kept her company.

Scarlet was much better after the first night and soon they were both on the daily walks routine with me. Here we are at the duck pond with Daffy (see white duck on water). Daffy wasn't too keen to come close to me because he wasn't sure of my cousins (he must have heard of the "incident"involving  Zoe and a chicken!!)

 They enjoyed themselves very much.

There is a serious downside of having houseguests. On BBQ chicken night - MY TREATS are shared three ways instead of just slotting into my mouth!

So you got any more Chicken ma????!!!!?? Don't try and hide any from my crazy eyes!!

While mum was in her office not helping with MY bloggie doing office stuffs, Scarlet and Zoe napped next to her chair while I napped under the desk.

See Zoe looking surprised that Scarlet is sharing the bed ….. normally Scarlet doesn't like to be too close to her little sister. 

But they had a good time ….. and were very happy to see their dad dad again.

Our PARK Day

Hiya all,

Sorry but we have arrived a little LATE for Blogville's Park Day - but sometimes it is just too hard to keep the lazy humans focussed..... we WON'T mention any names..... but MUM (oops) wasn't feeling the best and she didn't want to turn on the big computer so I could put up my post in time.

Anywho - My cousins and I wanted to show you our Dawg PARK and what we got up to when we last were there:

Pup-sitting and a "Hello"

Hiya all...... sorry I haven't been around much. I have been busy keeping an eye on my peeps who seem to have been busy too. And I even overheard a conversation which leads me to believe that we are goin' on hollingdays again soon ..... to the beach.... I am rooly excited!

The other day my uncie dropped of Scarlet and Zoe so we could pup-sit them..... and they came along on my daily walk.

They love seein' our local park.

Poor dad dad had to handle two retractable leads with feisty schnauzers on the end. Mum just had to have Scarlet's lead.... and the flashy box of course.

Lucky for us we had some very rare rain a few days ago.... and the duck pond which had completely dried up got some more water in it. It's level is still very low.

Here's one shot where you can see our faces...... not bum bums!

When we got home Scarlet needed to rest.

I thought it was a good idea too.

It was a warm day..... so even our little birds enjoyed a drink and a swim in our birdbath.

An update & contest reminder!

Hi ya!

I decided to hit the office (the room where our commmpuuter is and all my creative blogging takes place) and give you some updates.

A couple of days ago - this big truck pulled up and two men wearing very bright jackets jumped out. Of course I had to do my "big girl bark" and warn EVERYONE in the street about it.

Coz if you think you are gonna SNEAK into my street and fiddle with the lights......without me REPORTIN' - you can THINK AGAIN!!!!! 

I've been checking on my duckie babies in my pond.....to make sure they are all happy!

Sometimes I overdo it on my walks and need to take a "baby rest" ......... sometimes.

In amongst the nice weather, we have had some coldish spring weather - on this day it even hailed some little ice thingys from the skies! Can you see them on the pavers?

I've had some visits by my cousins, Scarlet and Zoe - mum thinks this photo is a cracker!!

More three way bitey face - my cousins were on my ottoman, and I am standin' on the carpet - that is why it looks a little funny!

Field River Reserve

Hi everyone! We got out and about this week, mainly because mum said she needed to take my picture by a fountain!!?? Lucky for me this means goin' to a new park that we haven't been to together yet.

Here we are - me leadin' dad dad and mum bringin' up the rear with the flashy box.

This park is about 2km from my place.

There were a couple young lads doin' some fishin' - I am lookin' at them but mum didn't want to freak em out by taking a picture of them.

Here's that fountain she was goin' on about..... I'm happy that there are duckies to look at!
