I walk with concern today.......

I had a widdle break from my neighbourhood walks over the last week or so, there was so much going on in my life, and I felt too knackered for my usual walkies. There also were a couple of days where it was way too hot, and the pathways would have toasted my widdle footsie pads. This walk was different, as some sights were of concern - I'll show you!

We headed off in another direction - and I get to show you another of my close parks.....

And we're off!!!

Walking up the street, starting to sense something a bit odd (look high!)

OH MY GOD!!!  SANTY PAWS IS STUCKS IN THAT CHIMNEYS!!!!!!!!! HELP HIM, HELP HIM!!!!!  HE'S GONNA SMUFFOGATE!!  HELLLLPPPPP!!!! OH OH OH!!!!

And if that wasn't bad enough - CHECK THIS OUT!!!!!!!

ANOTHER OMG!!! THIS TIME SANTY PAWS LOOKS LIKE HE'S BEEN ABUSED, AND HAD THE STUFFINS KNOCKED OUT OF HIM!!!!  DID THE PEOPLE IN THIS HOUSE GET LOUSY PRESENTS??! WHAT'S GOING ON IN MY WORLD!!!!! I'M GONNA HAVE TO CALL THE PAWLICE THIS TIME!!!

Just before I worked myself up into a complete wreak, mum sat me down and explained that these are NOT Santy Paws, but decorations made to LOOK like Santy Paws! Ooohhhhh, now I get it - Please, humans, don't do this to poor unsuspecting puppies!!! There is a lot for a puppy to learn still!

I had to "collect myself" and resume our walkies.

Here I am showing dad the way into my other local park -this one has a big gazebo in the middle - not duckies.

On the home stretch now.... had to stop and lean against this tyre for support, while dad got out something pesky from my paw - I refuse to walk if there is something in my paw! I'm getting thirsty though, see how much my tongue is hanging out (and mum brought her flashy box - NOT my dwink-a- dink bottle!!) Heads are gonna roll!

My dad laughs at me every time we walk past this caravan. It's about 100 meters from home - but I always have a baby lie down under here - it's shady and nice and soft on the mulches. Dad takes the opportunity to check my back paws for stuff in em'.

Good - we are home - well the "top" garden of home - the driveway is where the green fence is in the background - boy I could use a drink!!

A lesson I learned today, is that humans have a strange sense of humour sometimes.... like that whole Santy in the chimney thing!! Oh - and mum should always carry the dwink-a-dink bottle!!

We think you need shoes to avoid those pesky getting stuck in your paws...well, the humans wear shoes!

  6. I am so sorry you had to see Santy Paws impersonators being treated so badly. At least it wasn't the REAL Santy Paws!
