It's Christmas Craft Time

My dad left us this morning for a trip to the shops - and I couldn't go. So I was feeling a little glum.

Me Christmassey but glum.

Mum decided to cheer me up with some "craft time". My furry paws aren't much good at little fiddly things like she does, so I have to do what I can,  snoopervise her activities and guide her when I feel it's all going to muck. Apparently - this is going to be a "Christmas Tree Ornament".

Mum had these really cool "nuts" which she found while holidaying in Tropical Far North Queensland - they fall of a certain kinda palm tree. She likes their deep maroon colour.

Next step we screwed in a little gold metal hoop, and painted it all over with craft glue.

Then I was asked to go through some photos a pick a face of someone special which will feature on our ornament. I thought it appropriate that this photo was chosen as I am the most photogenic by far in my family. In fact, it is an impossibility to ever take a bad photo of me!! Even if I do say so myself. BOL!.

My photo is trimmed to fit - give the scissors to your human - and instruct to NOT chop off any of my ears!

Then glued on using craft glue. Careful not to help at this stage because furry paws and glue is not a great combo!

Silver Glitter - pretty

We painted the rim with glue and rolled into the pretty glitter - note to self - don't schnoofle thru the glitter with the wozzle... it's pretty... but it gets up ones nose and makes one sneeze.

Attach thin ribbon in choice of colour. Again - tying little bows with furry paws is difficult - let human do it.

Looking HOT!! And I match with this years silver and red theme!!!!

WOOOO HOOOO!!! I'm as pleased as punch..... I - I mean we- did roolly roolly good, don't you think??
